Heavy rainfall will continue to hit Metro Manila and nearby provinces on Saturday evening, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa)
At 9 p.m. on Saturday, Pagasa also predicted rainfall in the next three hours in the Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite and Rizal.
Pagasa said the Typhoon “Ompong” (internationally known as “Mangkhut”) was moving 25 kph northwest of Laoag City with maximum sustained winds of 160 kph with a gustiness reaching up to 195 kph. /atm…
